Serve and Grow

Crosspoint is gathering a team to serve in the Dominican Republic from July 20–27, 2027. This trip is an opportunity for high school students and adults to step outside their everyday routines, serve God in a new way, and grow in their faith.

Our team will partner with EDCM and local Dominican churches to encourage their ongoing ministry and serve surrounding communities. Along the way, we hope participants will gain a bigger picture of who God is and how He is working through His Church around the world.

About Eastern Dominican Christian Mission

EDCM equips local pastors, supports church plants, provides medical care and supplies, and offers educational and spiritual support throughout the eastern Dominican Republic

Its ministries include a school in Punta Cana, a water filtration plant, medical outreach in Brisas del Mar, and partnerships with local churches. At the heart of its work is a commitment to building genuine relationships, sharing the gospel, developing Christ-centered leaders, and making disciples who make disciples.

How We May Serve

Our team's specific ministry activities will be determined in partnership with EDCM and local church leaders. Depending on the needs of the communities we visit, opportunities may include:

Children's or youth ministry
Community outreach
Home or hospital visits
Men's or women's ministry
Service or construction projects
Encouraging and serving alongside local churches

The week is also expected to include worship with a local church on Sunday and time to experience the Dominican Republic through a beach or shopping excursion.

Estimated Cost

The estimated cost is approximately $2,000 per person.

This estimate includes:

Round-trip airfare
Transportation within the Dominican Republic
Lodging
Meals while in the country
The participant's portion of the team ministry project

Personal snacks, souvenirs, passport expenses and other individual purchases are not included.

The final cost, payment schedule and fundraising information will be provided as details are confirmed. Airfare may affect the final trip price.
